The Templar Sword: Blade of the Just is the longsword variant of the Knights Templar’s weapon from the 12th and 13th centuries. Hand-forged carbon steel blade, Rockwell hardness 48–52 HRC, total length approximately 96 cm, blade length 78.5 cm. Includes a wood scabbard covered in genuine leather with steel and brass fittings.

A high-quality Templar sword suited to collectors of Crusader arms, Knights Templar cosplayers, and historical re-enactors of the Outremer period. At 1.37 kg without scabbard and with a balance point 15.5 cm forward of the guard, it closely reflects the swordsmanship tradition of the monk-warriors. How to care for your blade

After every use, wipe the blade with a soft, dry cloth to remove fingerprints. Carbon steel reacts to humidity and the natural acids on your skin: a light coat of mineral oil (Ballistol or camellia oil) applied once or twice a month protects against corrosion for the long term. For extended storage, keep the sword outside its scabbard, in a dry place away from direct sunlight. If a rust spot appears, gently buff it with a very fine stone and oil it immediately. A well-cared-for blade lasts through generations.

Is this sword sharpened?

Our carbon steel blades (1045, 1060, T10, Damascus) all ship sharpened by our partner smiths. Stainless steel blades (420, 440), made for collection and display, are not sharpened.
