How to care for your blade

After every use, wipe the blade with a soft, dry cloth to remove fingerprints. Carbon steel reacts to humidity and the natural acids on your skin: a light coat of mineral oil (Ballistol or camellia oil) applied once or twice a month protects against corrosion for the long term. For extended storage, keep the sword outside its scabbard, in a dry place away from direct sunlight. If a rust spot appears, gently buff it with a very fine stone and oil it immediately. A well-cared-for blade lasts through generations.

Is this sword sharpened?

Our carbon steel blades (1045, 1060, T10, Damascus) all ship sharpened by our partner smiths. Stainless steel blades (420, 440), made for collection and display, are not sharpened.

Perfectly balanced thanks to the large flower-shaped pommel, very finely worked with beautiful finishes on the fittings and the scabbard.

This sword is the very reason why collecting swords is so captivating. No one can know what the real Excalibur looked like, but holding it gives you the feeling of owning a piece of history. The scabbard is also impressive. Absolutely worth its price. You will love it!
