The story behind the blade

The Templar Knights Dagger in its sharpened edition is the companion blade to the Templar long sword. It features a short double-edged sharpened blade, a Templar cross crossguard, a disc pommel engraved with the seal of the Order, and a leather scabbard embossed in relief with the Templar cross.

A premium sharpened edition for the most rigorous collectors of Templar arms. This Templar dagger is prized by cosplayers of Knights of the Temple (Hugues de Payens, Bernard de Clairvaux, Jacques de Molay), by re-enactors of the Crusades in Outremer, and by decorators of sacred chivalry-themed rooms. An essential piece for a complete Templar collection and the ideal companion to the corresponding long sword.

How to care for your blade

After every use, wipe the blade with a soft, dry cloth to remove fingerprints. Carbon steel reacts to humidity and the natural acids on your skin: a light coat of mineral oil (Ballistol or camellia oil) applied once or twice a month protects against corrosion for the long term. For extended storage, keep the sword outside its scabbard, in a dry place away from direct sunlight. If a rust spot appears, gently buff it with a very fine stone and oil it immediately. A well-cared-for blade lasts through generations.

Is this sword sharpened?

Our carbon steel blades (1045, 1060, T10, Damascus) all ship sharpened by our partner smiths. Stainless steel blades (420, 440), made for collection and display, are not sharpened.
