The story behind the blade
The Templar Dagger Militum Xristi in its sharpened edition honors the founding motto of the Knights Templar: Pauperes Commilitones Christi Templique Salomonici. Short double-edged sharpened blade, Templar cross guard, disc-shaped pommel bearing the seal of the Order, decorated leather scabbard.
A premium sharpened version for the most rigorous collectors of Knights Templar arms. This Templar dagger is appreciated by cosplayers of Templar figures (Hugues de Payens, Bernard de Clairvaux, Jacques de Molay), reenactors of the Latin Kingdom of Jerusalem, and those decorating spaces with a sacred chivalry theme. The ideal companion piece to the Soldier of Christ sword or the Blade of the Temple.

How to care for your blade
After every use, wipe the blade with a soft, dry cloth to remove fingerprints. Carbon steel reacts to humidity and the natural acids on your skin: a light coat of mineral oil (Ballistol or camellia oil) applied once or twice a month protects against corrosion for the long term. For extended storage, keep the sword outside its scabbard, in a dry place away from direct sunlight. If a rust spot appears, gently buff it with a very fine stone and oil it immediately. A well-cared-for blade lasts through generations.
Is this sword sharpened?
Our carbon steel blades (1045, 1060, T10, Damascus) all ship sharpened by our partner smiths. Stainless steel blades (420, 440), made for collection and display, are not sharpened.
