Kurosaki Ichigo is the protagonist of Tite Kubo’s Bleach, a young substitute Shinigami with the power to fight Hollows. His Zanpakutō, Zangetsu, takes several forms throughout the story: from the massive black cleaver of Shikai to the slender chained katana of Bankai (Tensa Zangetsu). The Ichigo Kurosaki Katana sharpened edition reproduces one of these iconic variants.
The blade (nagasa approximately 70 cm) features a deep black patina consistent with the Zangetsu’s Bankai form (Tensa Zangetsu). The sori curvature is particularly pronounced, referencing the dynamic blade profile seen in the anime.
The fittings follow Tite Kubo’s design: tsuka wrapped in black ito over dark samegawa (fully monochromatic, like the character’s signature palette), unadorned dark alloy tsuba, saya lacquered in full matte black with silver highlights, white sageo (Ichigo’s signature contrast after his Hollow transformation), and burnished iron habaki.
An essential piece for Bleach fans, a complement for Ichigo cosplay across all eras (substitute Shinigami, Vasto Lorde, post-Aizen), décor for Shinigami-themed otaku rooms, or a gift for anyone who has followed the manga since 2001 — or who discovered it through the recent Thousand-Year Blood War series. A katana that carries the Shinigami-Hollow duality of its protagonist.
Intended for collection, display, and decoration only. Not designed for functional use (combat, cutting, sparring, or martial training).

Time-honored craft. Masterful gesture. A one-of-a-kind, hand-forged piece built to last.
The blade takes shape beneath the hammer. Each layer of steel is folded and re-welded under heat to create a core that is both strong and flexible.
The steel is brought to high temperature, then quenched rapidly: this fast cooling hardens the edge and reveals the hamon, the wavy line that runs along the blade.
The smith hand-polishes the blade with natural stones of increasing grit, revealing its luster, its edge, and the soul of the steel.
Each blade is crafted by master artisans according to traditional forging techniques.
