The story behind the blade
Frostmourne is the cursed blade of the Lich King Arthas Menethil in World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King (Blizzard, 2008). The blade is crafted in stainless steel with runic motifs engraved along its length, a demonic skull guard, and a pommel decorated with an ice rune.

How to care for your blade
After every use, wipe the blade with a soft, dry cloth to remove fingerprints. Carbon steel reacts to humidity and the natural acids on your skin: a light coat of mineral oil (Ballistol or camellia oil) applied once or twice a month protects against corrosion for the long term. For extended storage, keep the sword outside its scabbard, in a dry place away from direct sunlight. If a rust spot appears, gently buff it with a very fine stone and oil it immediately. A well-cared-for blade lasts through generations.
Is this sword sharpened?
Our carbon steel blades (1045, 1060, T10, Damascus) all ship sharpened by our partner smiths. Stainless steel blades (420, 440), made for collection and display, are not sharpened.
