Ragnar Lothbrok stands as one of the most celebrated figures of the Viking age, and his sword is an extension of his legend. This hand-forged replica draws from the design language of the Vikings series: a broad high-carbon steel blade with a deep fuller for balance, a simple iron cross guard, and a grip wrapped in natural leather. The result is a sword that feels as good in the hand as it looks on display.
Suitable for historical reenactment, HEMA study, or as an investment-grade collector’s piece. Each sword is individually forged and finished. Ships with a leather scabbard.

How to care for your blade
After every use, wipe the blade with a soft, dry cloth to remove fingerprints. Carbon steel reacts to humidity and the natural acids on your skin: a light coat of mineral oil (Ballistol or camellia oil) applied once or twice a month protects against corrosion for the long term. For extended storage, keep the sword outside its scabbard, in a dry place away from direct sunlight. If a rust spot appears, gently buff it with a very fine stone and oil it immediately. A well-cared-for blade lasts through generations.
Is this sword sharpened?
Our carbon steel blades (1045, 1060, T10, Damascus) all ship sharpened by our partner smiths. Stainless steel blades (420, 440), made for collection and display, are not sharpened.
