Fujin is the kami of wind, iconic brother of Raiden, depicted as a green demon carrying a great bag of wind on his shoulders. The two together — wind and thunder — frequently appear as a diptych in paintings by Rinpa masters such as Tawaraya Sōtatsu and Ogata Kōrin. The Katana Fujin pays tribute to this aerial figure.
The T10 steel blade (60–62 HRC hardness, nagasa approximately 70 cm) carries an authentic hitatsura hamon, one of the most spectacular variants: islands of hard temper extend all the way to the spine of the blade, creating a scattered, patchy effect reminiscent of wind gusts sweeping across the ground.
The fittings echo the Fujin palette: leaf-green ito braided over pale samegawa, a bronze tsuba chiseled with a wind-bag motif, a saya lacquered in aqua-green with white gradients (invisible air made visible), and cream sageo. Silver-patinated habaki.
A piece for collectors who favor luminous palettes, a display piece for airy rooms with large windows, and a gift for admirers of Rinpa painting. The ideal companion to the Katana Raiden.

Time-honored craft. Masterful gesture. A one-of-a-kind, hand-forged piece built to last.
The blade takes shape beneath the hammer. Each layer of steel is folded and re-welded under heat to create a core that is both strong and flexible.
The steel is brought to high temperature, then quenched rapidly: this fast cooling hardens the edge and reveals the hamon, the wavy line that runs along the blade.
The smith hand-polishes the blade with natural stones of increasing grit, revealing its luster, its edge, and the soul of the steel.
Each blade is crafted by master artisans according to traditional forging techniques.
