The Blue Dragon King is an archetypal figure in contemporary fantasy: a draconic sovereign associated with water, sky, and cold majesty. The iconography appears in George R.R. Martin’s novels (House Targaryen, the blood dragons), in Hayao Miyazaki’s manga, and in FromSoftware’s games (Elden Ring). The Blue Dragon King Katana sharpened edition draws from this archetypal sovereign-draconic figure.
The T10 steel blade (hardness 60–62 HRC, nagasa approximately 70 cm) features a deep blue patina, a chromatic treatment that shifts the surface toward cobalt-sapphire tones. The mirror polish captures reflections reminiscent of the scales of a mythological sea dragon.
The fittings coherently embrace the draconic palette: tsuka wrapped in deep blue ito over dark samegawa, dark alloy tsuba hand-engraved with a dragon body coiled around the central opening, saya lacquered in navy blue with golden metallic scale details distributed like a dragon’s mantle, cobalt blue sageo, and burnished gold habaki.
A piece for fans of draconic imagery (Game of Thrones, House of the Dragon, fantasy novels), a complement for original draconic character cosplay, décor for fantasy or medieval-gaming themed rooms, or a gift for collectors of sovereign-themed replicas. A katana that carries the majesty of a dragon king.
Intended for collection, display, and decoration only. Not designed for functional use (combat, cutting, sparring, or martial training).

Time-honored craft. Masterful gesture. A one-of-a-kind, hand-forged piece built to last.
The blade takes shape beneath the hammer. Each layer of steel is folded and re-welded under heat to create a core that is both strong and flexible.
The steel is brought to high temperature, then quenched rapidly: this fast cooling hardens the edge and reveals the hamon, the wavy line that runs along the blade.
The smith hand-polishes the blade with natural stones of increasing grit, revealing its luster, its edge, and the soul of the steel.
Each blade is crafted by master artisans according to traditional forging techniques.
