Forging
The blade takes shape beneath the hammer. Each layer of steel is folded and re-welded under heat to create a core that is both strong and flexible.
Every piece is unique, hand-forged
Below ten thousand meters, sunlight never reaches. The creatures that live there have enormous eyes, or no eyes at all. The pressure would crush a submarine. It is in that dark silence that this blade seems to have been conceived.
The saya is a navy blue so deep it turns black at the edges: a surface disturbed by darker grain lines, like abyssal currents. The tsuka is wrapped in black ito, beneath which only the shadow of the samegawa is visible. The tsuba is a flat matte black, unadorned. A black cotton sageo hangs from the pommel like a diver’s plumb line in the Marianas.
Hand-forged blade, sharpened, balanced, and mounted on a display stand. A katana for those drawn to dark, silent aesthetics—perfect for cinematic studios, reading rooms, or spaces with a maritime or oceanic-horror theme.

Time-honored craft. Masterful gesture. A one-of-a-kind, hand-forged piece built to last.
The blade takes shape beneath the hammer. Each layer of steel is folded and re-welded under heat to create a core that is both strong and flexible.
The steel is brought to high temperature, then quenched rapidly: this fast cooling hardens the edge and reveals the hamon, the wavy line that runs along the blade.
The smith hand-polishes the blade with natural stones of increasing grit, revealing its luster, its edge, and the soul of the steel.
Each blade is crafted by master artisans according to traditional forging techniques.
