The story behind the blade
The Viking Damascus Sword — Brown Runes draws inspiration from the blades uncovered at Hedeby, Birka, and Vendel: high-status weapons decorated with runes engraved along the central fuller. The blade is crafted in Damascus steel with visible layered patterns, and features brown Younger Futhark runes engraved along its length.
A premium replica for the most discerning Viking re-enactors, cosplayers of Norse warrior-kings (Harald Hardrada, Olaf Tryggvason), and collectors decorating rooms inspired by Icelandic sagas. The presence of runes elevates this piece to the rank of a ceremonial symbol, best paired with a decorated leather scabbard and a worked metal belt fitting.
Intended for collection, display, and decoration only. Not designed for functional use (combat, cutting, sparring, or martial training).
