Incredible sword! The value for money is exceptional but I'm not giving 5 stars because the leather grip is coming away from the metal structure and this gives a feeling of reduced maneuverability. I'm still planning to order 2 more in 2026 because I intend to practice dual-blade fencing.

The story behind the blade
The Andúril Damascus Edition is the luxury Damascus version of the Flame of the West, reforged from the shards of Narsil for Aragorn in The Return of the King. The blade is crafted in sharpened Damascus steel with layered patterns visible along its full length, open-wing guard, and a pommel decorated with the Star of the Dúnedain.
The Damascus Edition is the most sought-after by discerning collectors for the technical complexity of its layered forging. How to care for your blade
After every use, wipe the blade with a soft, dry cloth to remove fingerprints. Carbon steel reacts to humidity and the natural acids on your skin: a light coat of mineral oil (Ballistol or camellia oil) applied once or twice a month protects against corrosion for the long term. For extended storage, keep the sword outside its scabbard, in a dry place away from direct sunlight. If a rust spot appears, gently buff it with a very fine stone and oil it immediately. A well-cared-for blade lasts through generations.
Is this sword sharpened?
Our carbon steel blades (1045, 1060, T10, Damascus) all ship sharpened by our partner smiths. Stainless steel blades (420, 440), made for collection and display, are not sharpened.
