In Quentin Tarantino’s Kill Bill (2003–2004), the protagonist Beatrix Kiddo — the Bride — commissions legendary master swordsmith Hattori Hanzō to forge a katana for her revenge. The blade he creates, austere yet of the highest quality, has become one of the most celebrated visual fetishes in Asian-American cinema. The Katana Kill Bill is a direct replica of that cinematic blade.
The Damascus steel blade (nagasa approximately 70 cm, hardness 58–60 HRC) is finished with a deep mirror polish, consistent with the minimalist aesthetic of Tarantino’s blade. The tsuka is wrapped over genuine rayskin (authentic samegawa) — a quality element in keeping with Hanzō’s declaration in the film: “this is my finest work.”
The fittings faithfully reproduce the film’s design: tsuka wrapped in deep yellow ito with black diamond weave (the Bride’s signature palette, an homage to Bruce Lee in Game of Death), dark alloy tsuba with a discreet motif, lemon yellow lacquered saya with black sageo. Polished brass habaki.
An iconic piece for Tarantino fans, the perfect complement for Bride cosplay or related characters (O-Ren Ishii, Vernita Green), and a statement decoration for cinephile rooms where Kill Bill screens regularly — a katana that brings home the heritage of revenge-homage cinema.

Time-honored craft. Masterful gesture. A one-of-a-kind, hand-forged piece built to last.
The blade takes shape beneath the hammer. Each layer of steel is folded and re-welded under heat to create a core that is both strong and flexible.
The steel is brought to high temperature, then quenched rapidly: this fast cooling hardens the edge and reveals the hamon, the wavy line that runs along the blade.
The smith hand-polishes the blade with natural stones of increasing grit, revealing its luster, its edge, and the soul of the steel.
Each blade is crafted by master artisans according to traditional forging techniques.
