The Dark Master Sword is the shadowed variant of the classic Master Sword from Zelda, evoking its corrupted form in Breath of the Wild (energy decay). The straight double-edged blade is crafted from stainless steel with a deep black patina, a blackened dark-wing crossguard, a deep purple spiral-wrapped hilt, and a triangular black gem pommel.

A Zelda replica prized by fans of Nintendo’s dark character variants, by Dark Link cosplayers, and by decorators of dark fantasy gaming rooms. How to care for your blade

After every use, wipe the blade with a soft, dry cloth to remove fingerprints. Carbon steel reacts to humidity and the natural acids on your skin: a light coat of mineral oil (Ballistol or camellia oil) applied once or twice a month protects against corrosion for the long term. For extended storage, keep the sword outside its scabbard, in a dry place away from direct sunlight. If a rust spot appears, gently buff it with a very fine stone and oil it immediately. A well-cared-for blade lasts through generations.

Is this sword sharpened?

Our carbon steel blades (1045, 1060, T10, Damascus) all ship sharpened by our partner smiths. Stainless steel blades (420, 440), made for collection and display, are not sharpened.

Is it legal to own a sword?

Carrying it in public is restricted by state and local laws: a sword is considered a bladed weapon, and transporting it outside your home without a legitimate reason (event, training, transport to a club) may be subject to local regulations. Our pieces ship in a scabbard and protective packaging suitable for initial transport from our warehouse to your home.
